Jacksonville, NC – July 1, 2026 – ADS Member STANADYNE is proud to be one of only a few automotive companies that can trace its roots back to America’s Reconstruction Era. This year, Stanadyne celebrates a legacy of innovation that dates back to 1876. For 150 years, the company has proudly helped shape innovative systems and components around the world.

From its start as the Hartford Machine Screw Company to its current position as a leader in advanced fuel systems, air management, and remanufactured products, Stanadyne continues to reinvent itself through precision manufacturing, technology advancements, and a commitment to providing optimum solutions across all industries.

Beginning in Connecticut as a manufacturer serving America’s industrial age with its revolutionary automatic screw machine, the company has since evolved into one of the most influential names in diesel and gasoline fuel systems. Eventually, its name was changed to Standard Screw Company and it was purchased by Moen in 1937; that acquisition accelerated an expansion into the fuel injection market that would become foundational to modern transportation.

By 1952, Standard Screw introduced the world’s first diesel rotary pump—the Roosa Master Injection Pump. In 1958, it introduced the DB Model Rotary Pump diesel fuel pump line, and, in 1963, it released the groundbreaking Pencil Nozzle Injector with a compact design to deliver fuel into the center of the cylinder. These innovations helped redefine diesel performance across trucking, agriculture, military, and industrial sectors for decades.

While the Stanadyne brand wasn’t formally established until 1970, the company’s engineering initiatives had already influenced powertrain production across multiple industries. In the following years, Stanadyne continued introducing benchmark technologies.

In 1993, the launch of the world’s first electronic rotary pump marked another turning point for Stanadyne. Its DS Model Rotary Pump brought advanced electronic controls into diesel fuel management at a time when emissions standards, efficiency demands, and performance expectations were intensifying. As global emissions regulations tightened and automakers pursued cleaner, more efficient combustion technologies, Stanadyne helped lead the change. In 2006, the company introduced the world’s first 200-bar gasoline direct injection pump, ushering in a new generation of gasoline engine efficiency and performance.

Later, Stanadyne pushed the boundaries even further with its higher-pressure systems, including 500-bar technologies and motorsports-focused fuel delivery systems capable of supporting some of the racing industry’s highest-capacity GDI applications. These innovations have earned recognition from major original equipment manufacturers.

Since its inception 150 years ago, Stanadyne has produced more than 40 million diesel pumps, over 200 million diesel injectors, and millions of gasoline direct injection pumps. Today, the company’s global operations include advanced manufacturing and engineering centers in North Carolina, South Carolina, India, and China, supported by expertise in combustion analysis, computational fluid dynamics, durability testing, thermal analysis, and high-pressure fuel system development.

A pivotal chapter in Stanadyne’s modern growth came in 2019 with the acquisition of PurePower Technologies, expanding the company’s capabilities in remanufactured diesel fuel systems and aftermarket support. Today, PurePower remanufactures hundreds of thousands of diesel components annually and keeps more than 500,000 pounds of waste out of landfills each year through its reclamation and remanufacturing programs.

Stanadyne’s ability to evolve across multiple generations is a significant point of pride for its leadership team, particularly during a milestone year that connects Stanadyne’s industrial origins to the rapidly changing automotive industry of today.

“For 150 years, Stanadyne has stood for innovation, quality, and excellence. This milestone is a testament to the dedication of our team, the strength of our partnerships, and the trusted products we deliver every day,” said Rob Mallory, Stanadyne chief executive officer. “Together, we celebrate our history with pride and look forward to continuing to power progress for generations to come.”

Edward Flanagan, Stanadyne vice president of global sales and program management, added “It’s remarkable to think our company DNA dates back to the presidency of Ulysses S. Grant, and our fundamental drive to provide solutions for the end customer never wavered.”

From agriculture, off-road, commercial, military, and power generation to passenger vehicles and motorsports, Stanadyne’s commitment to delivering solutions for end users remains as strong as ever. Stanadyne’s current engineering efforts include developing high-pressure fuel systems, support for low- and zero-carbon fuels, hydrogen-capable technologies, and solutions aimed at reducing emissions in hard-to-electrify applications. Instead of viewing electrification as the end of internal combustion, Stanadyne sees an opportunity for smarter, cleaner propulsion systems that integrate current infrastructure realities with future environmental goals.

Stanadyne’s advanced fuel systems will continue to play a vital role in reducing emissions globally, especially in commercial transportation, agriculture, construction, defense, and other sectors.
From its founding in 1876 through today’s high-pressure, clean-combustion systems, Stanadyne has consistently evolved with the needs of the market while staying rooted in precision engineering and manufacturing excellence.

As Stanadyne celebrates 150 years of innovation, the historic anniversary is proof that innovation is an ongoing process. In an industry facing one of the most transformative periods in its history, Stanadyne enters its next chapter with the same mindset that carried it through the last century and a half: a willingness to adapt, engineer, and innovate for the road ahead.

###

About Stanadyne:

Stanadyne is a global leader in the design, manufacture, and remanufacture of advanced fuel delivery systems for diesel, gasoline, and alternative fuel engines. Founded in 1876, the company supports OEM and aftermarket customers worldwide from its headquarters in North Carolina and its facilities across the U.S., India, and China.
SRT Automotive Launches its New Global Brand Identity and Strengthens its International Leadership

The holding company enters a new strategic phase aimed at expanding its presence in more than 60 countries and broadening its comprehensive portfolio of automotive solutions.

SRT Automotive, a Spain-based multinational group and a leader in advanced automotive solutions, today announces the launch of its new global brand identity. This renewal strengthens the company’s international positioning and consolidates a diversified business model that integrates remanufacturing, aftermarket parts, engines, turbochargers, and sustainable mobility solutions.

A Steady Evolution Toward a Global Business Model
Since its founding in 2007, SRT Automotive has evolved from a family-owned company specialized in diesel remanufacturing into an international group with a presence in more than 60 countries, subsidiaries in the United Kingdom, the United States, Brazil, and Panama, and a network of over 70 franchises across Europe and the Americas. The group employs more than 140 people and operates two production facilities, where over one million components are remanufactured each year.

The diversification of its business has positioned the company as a benchmark in circular economy practices applied to the automotive industry, as well as a strategic partner in 100% electric mobility solutions.

A Strong, Future-Oriented Business Model
Within this context, the group had already been operating for several years under the SRT corporate brand as its strategic backbone. This consolidation process now culminates in the definitive transition from Lucas Diesel Systems to SRT Automotive, enabling the group to present a broader, more cohesive, and fully integrated product offering, one that is closely aligned with its own long-term vision and strategic objectives, and developed independently from ZF brand strategies.

The new brand identity is structured around four strategic business units (SRT Diesel, SRT Engines, SRT Turbochargers, and SRT Parts) covering the entire automotive value chain, including remanufacturing of fuel injection systems, engine production, multi-brand aftermarket parts, and technical solutions for the industry.

In addition, SRT Mobility complements this structure as a division focused on partnerships with international manufacturers to drive electric mobility projects, charging infrastructure, and advanced energy services. This integrated model enables the company to optimize resources, create synergies, and respond with agility to the technological and environmental challenges facing the sector.

Strategic Reinforcement in North America
As part of this new phase of global growth, SRT Automotive announces the appointment of Boris Atienzar as Sales Manager North America, effective December 5.

This appointment strengthens the group’s commercial strategy in one of its key markets and will support the consolidation of distributor relationships, the expansion of product presence, and the acceleration of new business opportunities across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

“This new stage represents a great opportunity to continue growing within SRT Automotive and to strengthen our presence in North America at a key moment for the development and consolidation of the brand in the region.” — Boris Atienzar, Sales Manager North America, SRT Automotive

A Strengthened Vision for the Future
“This new brand identity reflects the evolution of SRT and our ambition to lead a more efficient and sustainable mobility landscape. It reaffirms our commitment to innovation and to delivering solutions that will shape the future of the automotive industry.” — Óscar Villafranca, CEO, SRT Automotive

With this new global brand identity, SRT Automotive strengthens its position as a technological and industrial leader and continues to move toward a more international, digitalized, and sustainable business model, well prepared to address the challenges and opportunities of the automotive sector in the years ahead.

ADS Member M&D, the diesel aftermarket’s leading distributor and remanufacturer of diesel engine parts and components, proudly announces its first international partnership, adding ADS Member Drexel Group to its family of companies.

Drexel Group is a globally recognized remanufacturer of diesel fuel injectors located in Monterrey, Mexico. Their mission of offering the best fuel injectors through continual quality improvement and the application of advanced technologies is consistent with M&D’s history and longterm business strategy.

“M&D continues to partner with the best suppliers and remanufacturers worldwide to provide our customers with the best value proposition available. The Drexel family has built a unique, one-of-a-kind business with the highest standards for quality. We look forward to our first venture into Mexico and the ability to expand our full product offering to the market,” M&D CEO Grant Garrett said. “We also look forward to strengthening our relationship with Drexel's customers and seeing how M&D can assist in achieving their long-term goals.”

History and Mission

Drexel Group was founded in 1959 by Anthony Arthur Drexel Stefan, starting as a reconditioning service for Cummins mechanical fuel injectors and pumps. The company evolved into a worldwide expert on fuel injection repair and remanufacturing and is now operated by other family members, including Owner and President Eduardo Heinz Drexel Gonzalez and Eduardo’s children, Directors Eduardo Heinz Drexel Romo, Juan Pablo Drexel Romo and Mariana Drexel Romo.

Sixty years after its humble beginnings, the Drexel Group operates the largest fuel injector remanufacturing facilty in Mexico, offering product coverage for light-, medium- and heavy-duty diesel engine applications. They proudly serve a global market and are internationally recognized for using today’s most advanced manufacturing technologies.

Foundational Business Relations

M&D and Drexel’s relationship dates back decades, when M&D’s former owner, Bruce Ingram, and the Drexel Group’s founder, Anthony Arthur Drexel Stefan, were friends in the industry.
“We believe that our historical relationship and strategic partnership going forward will bring many benefits to the entire diesel engine aftermarket,” President Eduardo Heinz Drexel Gonzalez said. “We will be able to supply M&D’s branch locations with medium and heavy-duty injectors and components, improving their availability and customer service within the United States.”

Mariana Drexel Romo agreed with her father’s assessment of the importance of shared company values and history. “Since both our companies began as smaller family-owned operations, we share a lot of the same values, which are core to our continued growth,” she added.

International Investment Supports Market Demand

The partnership adds an unparalleled depth to diesel expertise, generates a new pool of resources, and positions each organization to optimally serve the diesel aftermarket. Furthermore, Drexel Group’s unmatched investment in industry-leading manufacturing equipment puts the two companies at the forefront of the industry’s technical innovation.

“M&D’s established vendor relationships will provide our team the ability to sell a variety of engine parts outside of the fuel system, improving our capabilities within Mexico,” Eduardo Heinz Drexel Romo commented.

“Our partnership,” Juan Pablo Drexel Romo added, “will create an alliance of two of the most well-known companies in our industry.”

The collaboration also strengthens capacity to provide high-quality Class 7 and 8 fuel injectors throughout M&D’s national network of 41 branch locations. Seamless product distribution will flow from Drexel to M&D’s central distribution hub in Houston, thanks to their proximity to the United States-Mexico border.

M&D looks forward to transforming the diesel aftermarket with the Drexel Group, and extends great appreciation to the Drexel family for their cooperation and commitment.

Taylor Diesel’s deep familial roots began in 1945, when Glenn Taylor founded its first location in Little Rock, Ark. Glenn’s son, Don Taylor, teamed up with his father and helped open three new locations. Soon thereafter, Don’s children, Donnie and Becky
Taylor, joined the family business. In 1988, Donnie and Becky became President and Vice President, partners of the Taylor Diesel Group, and grew the business into eight locations.

Donnie eventually passed down the family business to his son Brad Taylor, who has since maintained their professional legacy by building winning relationships with customers and employing those who always take the extra step.

    applications.

GB REMANUFACTURING’S MICHAEL KITCHING RECEIVES MICHAEL CARDONE LEADERSHIP AWARD

Michael Kitching, President and CEO, GB Remanufacturing, Inc., is the recipient of the 2020 Michael Cardone Leadership Award. The award, presented by MERA - The Association for Sustainable Manufacturing, recognises individuals who demonstrate exceptional leadership in remanufacturing and sustainability.

The award was presented during the MERA 10th Anniversary Celebration on 25 February 2021, by MERA President and COO John Chalifoux, MERA Founding Chairman Michael Cardone, Jr. and MERA Director Michael Cardone III, who also serves as President of MC3 Capital. At the virtual event, Chalifoux highlighted the legacy of the Cardone family, and all three individuals recognised Kitching for his vision, passion, teamwork and excellence – the key traits associated with the award.

“This award recognises individuals and companies that have elevated the recognition, visibility and acceptance of the remanufacturing industry in the global economy and supply chain,” said Michael Cardone Jr. “It takes a leader with a passion for excellence and a great team, so we also congratulate your team at GB Remanufacturing for what you’ve done together for our industry, especially during the pandemic.”

In the spring of 2020, at the start of the pandemic in the United States, Michael Kitching and his team at GB Remanufacturing wanted to help. After reaching out to Long Beach Memorial Medical Center in California, Kitching was asked if GB Remanufacturing could produce a critical ventilator part that was in short supply. Kitching immediately agreed and challenged his engineering department to develop a solution, and to do it stat. Rather than 3D print single-use parts, the GB Remanufacturing team decided to machine the parts out of a material that could be used multiple times after enduring a high-temperature disinfecting process. This approach would allow the part to be used multiple times, significantly increasing the number of available ventilators. GB Remanufacturing moved fast and donated dozens of parts to the hospital. Their quick action undoubtedly helped patients and addressed a weak link that was identified by the hospital at the start of the COVID-19 crisis.

“Michael, your action really encapsulates the creativity of remanufacturers and our reliance on amazing people,” said Michael Cardone III. “You embody what remanufacturing stands for and we are excited to see you receive this award today.”

“Wow, coming from you, two pioneers in the remanufacturing industry, it couldn’t mean more,” said Michael Kitching. “I feel very blessed. The team was given a great opportunity to help, and we did.”

In 2017, the MERA Board of Directors announced the formation of the Michael Cardone Leadership Award in honor of three generations in the Cardone family. In 1970, Michael Cardone Jr. co-founded CARDONE Industries with his late father Michael Cardone Sr. The company grew to become the largest family-owned remanufacturer of automotive parts in the world. Previous recipients of the Michael Cardone Leadership Award are:

Byron Schneidman, Partner, RSM US LLP (2019)
Woody Knopf, Former Chairman, Knopf Automotive (2018)
Eric Smith, Owner, Impression Products (2017)

Delphi Technologies launches innovative redesigned fuel pump module and announces product line expansion. 700 new fuel handling parts to be launched by the end of 2020. Portfolio expansions include enhancements to a complete package in fuel handling and GDi systems from a market leader.

November 12, 2019 – At AAPEX, Delphi Technologies showcased new innovations in its aftermarket fuel handling portfolio, demonstrating continued leadership in North America. The company expects to launch 300 new fuel handling part numbers by the end of 2019, including more than 70 first-to-market parts, and is targeting an additional 400 new parts in 2020. These expansions help Delphi Technologies customers stay on the leading edge of coverage in fuel handling parts no matter the vehicle that enters their garage.

Chad Smith, vice president, Aftermarket, North America, says, “We are committed to finding complete solutions to support our customers’ businesses. This means taking care of their parts, testing, and training needs all in one program. And this is particularly true for fuel handling.”

Fuel handling program

With more than 2,000 part numbers in its fuel handling program, Delphi Technologies customers can expect full sales coverage in this area. This year alone, the company increased its fuel handling offering by more than 10 percent with plans for a 20 percent increase in 2020.

The new numbers announced in 2019 include more than 70 first-to-market parts, strengthened by the company’s one hundred years of OE expertise. The portfolio includes fuel modules, gasoline direct injection (GDi) pumps, electric fuel pumps, hanger assemblies, mechanical fuel pumps, transfer units, fuel strainers, feed pumps, in-line solenoid pumps, and accessories.

These fuel handling parts boast new and more durable packaging featuring the Delphi Technologies brand with simplified labeling. Inside the box, a new pillow-pack inflated encapsulating sheath protects modules and hangers during shipping to lessen the risk of damage.

New fuel pump delivery module

Delphi Technologies unveiled its latest fuel pump delivery module at AAPEX, with cutting-edge improvements designed to increase longevity and reliability. Major upgrades include:

Longer wear-resistant lifespan: new carbon commutator and anodized aluminum pump components

Accurate and fast fuel level sender readings: button-style contacts with high conductivity, spring-loaded precious metals

Protected against corrosion: internal components are fully sealed with an overmolded armature

Protected against contaminants: high capacity synthetic mesh inlet filter

Electric blue cover, filter, and pump cap match the new Delphi Technologies brand and immediately signal Delphi Technologies quality.

“We’re proud of the stellar reputation our fuel handling program has earned, and we’re using our OE know-how to make a great product even better,” Smith says. “That’s why we’re giving our customers a sneak peek at our latest and greatest fuel pump module here at AAPEX, taking a mature product category in a fresh direction. Not only is it more durable, but it’s also instantly recognizable as a Delphi Technologies part thanks to the bright blue top.”

GDi service program

Delphi Technologies reinforced its OE credentials in GDi systems, offering training classes and adding new GDi pumps and testing equipment to its range. The company’s aftermarket portfolio includes more than one hundred GDi pumps with import and domestic coverage ranging from 2005-2018.

As a leading manufacturer of OE GDi technology, Delphi Technologies can provide the tools and expertise needed to diagnose and repair this complex system. The company demonstrated a working model of the new Hartridge Excalibur GDi Master at AAPEX, its first test equipment designed for gasoline systems. The Excalibur offers comprehensive injector testing with simple pass/fail criteria, making diagnostics and replacement a straightforward process. Its high pressure and high flow rate test capability match OE standards.

Training from an OE expert

In order to support customers’ businesses with a full service solution, Delphi Technologies offers hands-on training courses across a variety of topics, including diagnosing and repairing fuel systems. The classes are led by senior instructors and updated to reflect the latest technologies. For example, GDi represents one of the fastest growing areas of vehicle servicing, and technicians can learn about how GDi systems work and how to repair them in the advanced fuel systems course. They can also learn from their own home or garage with the Delphi Technologies YouTube channel, with videos on how to diagnose injector misfires, parts needed for a GDi repair, combatting vapor lock, and more.

Delphi Technologies’ reputation in fuel handling and OE expertise have also helped the company to kickstart a warranty reduction campaign in the category as a whole. It offers a fuel tank cleaning kit solution as part of its educational campaign to help technicians understand the need to clean the tank to avoid comebacks due to contamination. The importance of tank cleaning has been endorsed by the Car Care Council and Motorist Assurance Program (MAP), and added to Mitchell1 and Epicor.
